1. Initial purchase and collection
When I arrived to collect the car, there was a chip in the windscreen that hadn’t been there when we agreed the sale.
There was also confusion about the collection itself: I was first told I couldn’t pick up the car, then told that I could, due to a misunderstanding about which car I was collecting.
2. Issues shortly after purchase
About a week later, I had to return the car for an update.
When I arrived, I was told the car wasn’t actually booked in, so I had to rebook the appointment.
3. Courtesy car situation
I went to the sales team, who kindly arranged a courtesy car, though it was clear this wasn’t planned.
The courtesy car wasn’t properly charged or cleaned, and I had to drive back to return items that belonged to the salesperson and had been left inside it.
Despite this, the manager (Chris) implied they were doing me a favour by providing a courtesy car — something I believe should be standard when you’ve been sold a car you can’t drive.
4. Ongoing delays
I still don’t have my actual car back, almost a month later.
5. Overall impression
The whole experience has felt disappointing and disorganised.
While they showed impressive flexibility and organisation when they needed the courtesy car back, it’s a shame that level of service hasn’t been consistent throughout.
